Utilizing unique infrared technology that avoids detection and unauthorized radio interception, the Infrared Long Range Transmitter System monitors room conversations from distances of up to 500 meters away. A miniature Infrared Transmitter converts sound into non-coherent pulses of light. Designed for easy sight alignment, the optical receiver is housed in a single lens reflex camera mounted onto a tripod.

FACT SHEET: DPL-4500-IRTX INFRARED LONG RANGE TRANSMITTER SYSTEM

Light pulses are converted back into audio signals with high-density electronic circuitry which filters stray light emission for interference-free listening. A discreet audio-amplifier control module clipped onto a tripod leg filters out noise and increases the signals sensitivity and gain while a LED bar graph indicates signal strength. A miniature credit-card sized recorder permits simultaneous recording of all intercepted conversations. The Infrared Long Range Transmitter System includes miniature infrared transmitter, infrared optical receiver, audio amplifier control module recorder, headphones, tripod and mounting accessories. Optional lenses are available to extend range.
