All cellular telephones within the protected area of the activated system will be unable to receive or transmit calls. Other cellular telephones outside the range will not be affected.

The unit is designed to jam the downlink cellular signals which are used in the country where the jammer has been designated for use. Depending on the country where the unit is in operation, the equipment can be configured to simultaneously jam single, dual or triple cellular bands.
