Despite looking and writing exactly like an ordinary ballpoint
pen, the pen actually contains a high quality crystal-controlled UHF
transmitter. The sensitive microphone concealed within the pen will monitor
even low conversations within a room, and the Transmitter will send an
extremely clear signal to the dedicated receiver placed nearby.
Conversations can either be listened to directly by the
earpiece provided or, alternatively, can be remotely recorded on a
voice-activated recorder. The range of the transmitter will depend on the
environment in which it will be used, but in open areas it will be many
hundreds of meters.

This is a completely new crystal-controlled receiver which has been designed
for use with our covert transmitters.
The receiver provides extremely high quality sound definition, and can be
supplied in any VHF or UHF frequency. It comes complete with a connector cable
for use with a headset and for use with a voice-activated, reduced speed tape
recorder for unattended use. It's small size and weight make it ideal for covert
use. It can be supplied either as a single, two-channel or three-channel
receiver.
