ADVANCED HANDHELD EXPLOSIVES VAPOR TRACE DETECTOR


Designed in part with funding from the BWG, TSWG and Transport Canada to complement Desktop IMS explosive detectors in airports worldwide, the DPL-E3100 is the first explosives trace handheld based on GC-Chemilux®
(Gas Chromatograph Luminol Chemiluminescence). It detects and identifies most military, commercial, even homemade explosives, liquid and powdered, such as
dynamite, NG, black powder, TATP and other related peroxides and all tagged plastics. It is one thousand times more sensitive than other portables, with fewer false alarms. TATP and peroxide explosives have been used in the 2005 London underground bombings, and by the Paris shoe-bomber, al Qaeda, the IRA, among many other deadly groups. The DPL-E3100 has high selectivity to explosives and immunity to weather and environmental interference. Where precise identification is not needed, ask for the affordable E3200.
